HANOVER, N.H. – The Harvard women's tennis team (10-7, 1-0 Ivy League) earned a 4-0 victory over Dartmouth (6-8, 0-1 Ivy League) this afternoon at the Boss Tennis Center in Hanover, N.H.
 
The Crimson opened the match by earning the doubles point after wins from Rachel Lim-Rachel Eason and Angel You-Iveta Daujotaite, both by 6-4 margins.
 
In the singles action, Holly Fischer earned the first point for the Crimson thanks to a swift 6-2, 6-1 victory over Katie Weber of Dartmouth at the No. 3 spot.
 
Over at the sixth position, Sany Gawande cruised to a 6-3, 6-0 win over the Big Green's Ujvala Jupalli.
 
Earning the clinching point for Harvard was first-year Maxi Duncan at the No. 2 spot, with a 6-2, 6-4 triumph over Ashley Hess.
 
Sophia Ho, Rachel Eason and Angel You all won the first set in their respective matches before the contest was decided.

Harvard Highlights

• The Crimson has now won five matches in a row over Dartmouth.
• This was Harvard's first Ivy League victory since April 20, 2019 (W, 4-0 over Cornell)
• The win marks the fifth shutout victory of the spring for the Crimson.
