CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 73 Harvard women's tennis team (12-10, 3-3 Ivy League) was bested by Brown, 4-1, today at the Beren Tennis Center in Cambridge, Mass.
The Crimson dropped the doubles point in the deciding match at the No. 3 spot. The duo of
Sany Gawande and
Annika Bassey were outlasted in a tiebreak for a final result of 7-6(3).
Moving onto the singles action,
Sany Gawande picked up the lone Harvard victory with a swift 6-1, 6-1 victory at the No. 5 spot.
Rachel Lim and
Mihaela Marculescu were in the third set of their contests before the match was decided.
