CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Radcliffe Heavyweight Rowing returned to action on Saturday for a dual meet with No. 4 Brown on the Charles River. It was the Black and White's first race back on its home course in nearly the years.
Â
The competition between the Ivy League foes began with a race between the two varsity eight boats. Radcliffe could not keep up with the Bears pace, falling in the first race of the day.
Â
The second and third varsity boats suffered the same fate in the next contest, as the Radcliffe 2V was narrowly defeated in its race.
Â
Harvard's varsity fours boats were both outpaced by the Bears in the final regatta of the afternoon as Brown took the win on the Charles.
