WORCESTER, Mass. – Harvard-Radcliffe Heavyweight Rowing completed a successful day of racing at the Eastern Sprints Regatta this afternoon with eight top-three finishes and a third-place finish in the varsity eight grand final. The second varsity crew claimed victory in their petite final to cap off the day.
The first varsity eight crew kicked off the competition with a victory in the third heat before placing third behind Brown and Rutgers in the final.
Radcliffe's second varsity crew took home a petite final win after placing third in its first heat of the day. The third varsity boat posted a third place finish in the petite final after a fourth place finish in its heat.
The fours boats also finished strong in the regatta as the A boat finished second in its grand final behind Brown, who also took the win in the boats heat. The Varsity Four B boat sat in fourth place after its grand final race and the Varsity Four C finished in fifth.
UP NEXT
The Black and White will be in New Jersey in two weeks to compete for the Ivy League Championship on the Cooper River in Leonia, N.J.
