CAMBRIDGE, Mass.. – Harvard wrestling returns this weekend for a doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 21 against Binghamton and Cornell at the Malkin Athletic Center. The Crimson will face Binghamton at 12:00 p.m. before finishing the day with No. 6 Cornell at 6:00 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

- Jack Crook won COOP Student-Athlete of the Week after his impressive victory in last Saturday's match against the University of North Carolina.
- The Crimson came away with four victories during its 22-12 defeat to the Tar Heels.
- An exciting match saw the Crimson win two of its four victories in the final seconds of the third period as both Jack Crook and Yaraslau Slavikouski came away with the victories in the dying seconds of the final frame.
- Crook defeated Zach Sherman of UNC in a back-and-forth match at 149 pounds to give Harvard its first win of the dual season.
- Joshua Kim also notched his first win of the season after narrowly defeating Joey Mazzara 6-5 to help shrink the UNC lead.
- Alex Whitworth followed that with another victory at 174 pounds to shrink the UNC lead down to only two points.
- In the Crimson's last victory of the day, Yaraslau Slavikouski won a closely contested matchup against Aydin Guttridge by a score of 2-1. Slavikouski was able to escape early in the second period to open the scoring before securing the victory via a decision in the final seconds of the third period.
- Harvard has a record of 9-58 all-time against Cornell and 1-0 against Binghamton.
