PHILADELPHIA, PA – No. 2 Harvard Women's Squash bested No. 3 Princeton for the second time this season to advance one step closer in their quest of being crowned champions of women's college squash at the CSA Team Championships.
The Crimson started fast and didn't look back, pulling ahead 3-0 to begin the day.
Marina Stefanoni,
Molly Stoltz, and
Serena Daniel dominated in their matches, all sweeping their opponents 3-0.
The Tigers were able to get their first win of the day at the No. 8 position but two more wins from
Brecon Welch and
Saran Gregory-Nghiem gave Harvard wins four and five to solidify the victory and the teams spot in the Howe Cup final.
To close the day,
Evie Coxon bounced back and won 3-0 to up the Crimson win total on the day to six.

- After falling yesterday, Stefanoni, Gregory-Nghiem, Coxon all bounced back today with wins at the No. 1, 2, and 5 positions.
- Five of the six Crimson wins were won in 3-0 fashion with Stefanoni, Daniel, Coxon, Welch, and Stoltz all sweeping their opponents.
- Stoltz dominated her match and dropped the least number of points by any Crimson player, only allowing ten points throughout three games played.
- In the first three games won by the Crimson, Stefanoni, Daniel, and Stoltz did not drop more than 20 points throughout each of their three games.
- With the win, the Crimson extended their lead in the all-time series against Princeton to 40-21. Harvard has won the last 13 matchups between the two squads, including twice this season.

Next Up
The Crimson return to action tomorrow against No. 1 Trinity as the two battle in the Howe Cup final. The match will take place at 1:00 p.m. from the Penn Squash Center in Philadelphia, PA. The women are looking to defend their 2022 title and be crowned National Champions for the eighth straight competition season.
Harvard will face Trinity after they defeated University of Virginia today, 6-3. The matchup will be a rematch from earlier this year where Trinity came out on top 2-7.
