CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis saw all three of its remaining doubles pairings collect victories in the round of 32 of the ITA New England Regionals doubles main draw today.
The duos
Holly Fischer and
Charlotte Owensby and Anna-Raphaëlle Serghi and
Angel You both won battles in tiebreakers. The top-seeded duo of Fischer and Owensby first defeated Nina Gulbransen and Yimei Emily Zhao (BU), 8-7 (6). Serghi and You then came out victorious over Shyla Aggarwal and Angela Huang (Yale), stealing the set following a 13-11 decision in tiebreakers.
Kavya Karra and
Stephanie Yakoff put up a dominant performance for the final doubles win, defeating Saloni Tamang and Maria Melo (Niagara) without dropping a game.
In singles action, Karra and
Maxi Duncan both collected victories in the round of 64 before falling in their next matches.
