CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis saw the sophomore duo of
Kavya Karra and
Stephanie Yakoff advance to the semifinals of the doubles main draw at the fourth day of the ITA New England Regionals this afternoon.
Karra and Yakoff first defeated Caitlin Flower and Willow Renton (Quinnipiac) in a back-and-forth battle, stealing an 8-6 victory.
Then, to advance to the final day, the pairing dropped Caitlyn Munson and Natalia Vela (Bryant) with a convincing, 8-2, result.
Despite falling in the quarterfinals,
Holly Fischer and
Charlotte Owensby also recorded an 8-6 victory over Vennmukiil Mathivanan and Emma Sy (Army) to add to the Crimson win total.
