WACO, Texas – Stephanie Yakoff and Kavya Karra battled in the doubles main draw at the NCAA Individual Championships this afternoon but ultimately fell in the opening round.

The Crimson duo took on Celia-Belle Mohr and Sophia Webster (Vanderbilt) in the round of 32 in Waco, Texas earlier today.  Yakoff and Karra narrowly fell in either set today to provide a final decision of 6-4, 6-3.

Despite falling in the first round, the NCAA debut for the sophomore pairing was historic as they marked just the eighth Harvard duo to ever compete in the Individual Championships and the first to do so since 2006.
