NEW HAVEN, CT. – Women's Lacrosse fell to No. 10 Yale by a score of 16-8 on Saturday afternoon. Riley Campbell and Charlotte Hodgson scored in the first quarter to give the Crimson the lead in the opening minutes but Harvard was unable to overcome a nine-goal first half from the Bulldogs. 

HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS 

• Charlotte Hodgson netted the first Crimson goal on the day after a pass from Maddie Barkate. 
• Caroline Mullahy found Riley Campbell on the side of the net to give the Crimson a 2-1 lead early in the first quarter.
• Chloe Provenzano and the Crimson defense came up with a big stop to keep the deficit at two at the end of the first quarter. 
• Callie Hem scored the next two goals for the Crimson after converting off a pass from Riley Campbell and another from Mullahy to just beat the buzzer at the end of the second quarter. 
• Maddie Barkate also found the back of the net in the third quarter. 
• Callie Batchelder tried to start a fourth-quarter comeback for the Crimson after two consecutive free-position goals.
