CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With the 2023-24 collegiate season in the books, Harvard cross country is ready to turn the page, as the Crimson revealed an exciting schedule for the 2024 season.
The Crimson return 21 out of 22 student-athletes that lifted the 2023 Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championship, while the men bring back 15 runners from a team that finished second at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships and 15
th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. The women took 25
th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
Among the returners is junior
Graham Blanks, the reigning NCAA Men's Cross Country national champion. Blanks will captain the Crimson alongside fellow rising seniors
Marianne Mihas, Annelies Quinton, and
Joe Ewing.
The campaign begins on Friday, Sept. 6, as the Crimson host Boston College for a dual meet. On Saturday, Oct. 5, Harvard heads to the Keystone State, as the Crimson will take part in the Paul Short Run in Lehigh, Pennsylvania.
On Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19, the Crimson will split for two different meets. One group will travel to the Bronx, N.Y. for the 2024 ECAC/IC4A Cross Country Championships, while another group head west to Madison, Wisconsin for the Pre-Nationals meet on Sunday, Oct. 19.
The postseason kicks-off on Saturday, Nov. 2, as the Crimson look to win some hardware at the 2024 Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships in Princeton, N.J. Harvard looks to punch some tickets to the 2024 NCAA Cross Country Championships, traveling to Hopkinton, New Hampshire for the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships.
The 2024 cross country concludes with a return trip to Madison for the 2024 NCAA Cross Country Championships.
