CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis returned to the court for the first time in the fall of 2024 at its annual home event, the Harvard Fall Classic. The Crimson began competition by sweeping doubles play and collecting an additional three singles victories.
Maxi Duncan and
Stephanie Yakoff dropped the least number of games of any Crimson duo, downing Seren Agar and Nada Dimovska (BC), 6-2.
Rachel Arbitman and
Kavya Karra, who appeared together six times throughout the 2024 spring season, followed closely behind with a 6-3 decision over Stephanie Sanchez and Saige Severance (BC). In their first ever appearance together,
Kate Kim and
Angel You rounded out doubles action with a 6-4 win over Olivia Benton and Tola Glowacka (BC).
Duncan collected her second victory of the day with a strong straight set, 6-4, 6-1, defeat of Muskan Mahajan (BC). Karra joined her teammate in straight set victories, dropping the least number of games of any Crimson player by downing Alex Torre (BC), 6-3, 6-0.
