CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis continued action at the Harvard Fall Classic this morning finishing nearly perfect by sweeping doubles play and winning four of five singles matches versus Providence opponents.
Natasha Rajaram and
Stephanie Yakoff teamed up for the first time and dominated Flora Eidson and Allison Root (Providence) by not dropping a singles game.
Rachel Arbitman and
Kavya Karra grabbed their second win of the young season, dropping Camila Barrera and Liria Loria (Providence), 6-1. Another first time pairing of Anna-Raphëlle Serghi and
Angel You put up an identical score of 6-1 to down their opponents.
Moving into singles
Kate Kim and Yakoff led the way with strong straight set victories in which either Crimson player only lost a single game.
Rajaram registered her first collegiate win this morning, downing Allison Root (Providence) in strong fashion, 6-0, 6-2.
Kavya Karra collected the final victory of the day and her second of the weekend with a 6-4, 6-0 result over Flora Eidson (Providence).
