CARY PARK, NC – Maxi Duncan and
Kate Kim of Harvard women's tennis began play at the ITA All-American Championships this afternoon from Cary Park, NC.
Despite battling in the opening round of the singles prequalifying draw, both Crimson players fell to their opponents.
Duncan was able to take the first set, 6-4, over her opponent but Katsiaryna Tuliakova (Stetson) overtook momentum and grabbed the next two sets, 6-1, 6-2. Action wrapped up in the second match of the day as Kim fell to Taly Licht, 6-4, 6-1.
The Crimson duo will both appear in the consolation bracket as Duncan is set to face Erika Dimitriev (Northern Illinois) and Kim will look to bounce back versus Olga Bienzobas (Arkansas).
