AMHERST, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis continued competition this morning at the UMass Minutewomen Invitational, picking up another group of wins in the tournament. The Crimson earned two singles and two doubles wins on the day to continue its run of success in Amherst.
 
The team started the day on the doubles courts, picking up victories in both matches played. Angel You and Anna-Raphëlle Serghi teamed up once again and flew to a 6-2 victory in their match to lead off the day in the win column. Natalie Block and her doubles partner, Rachel Arbitman, were not far behind, earning a 6-4 victory to sweep the matches in doubles play.
 
On the singles courts, Serghi led the way with a 6-4, 6-0 win in her matchup. Kavya Karra also earned a victory on the day with a tiebreak win against her opponent. Karra won her match, 1-6, 6-2, 10-8, to notch her second win in the Minutewomen Invitational.

Next Up

Harvard will close out the action in Amherst on day three of the Minutewomen Invitational tomorrow morning. The Crimson will then return to Cambridge to prepare for its next tournament of the Fall season, which will be the ITA New England Regionals. Harvard will host the tournament at the Beren Tennis Center from Thursday, Oct. 10 through Monday, Oct. 14.
