AMHERST, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis closed out its run at the Minutewomen Invitational with another strong effort on day three of the event. The Crimson posted three singles wins to go along with one doubles win to close out its strong showing in the Fall Invitational.
On the doubles courts, Harvard took the first of the two matches it played against opponents from St. John's University.
Kavya Karra and
Rachel Arbitman took home the victory with a 6-4 win in their matchup. The duo of
Natalie Block and Anna-Raphëlle Serghi narrowly fell in their match, 4-6.
The Crimson continued to post strong results in singles action, picking up wins in three of the four matches played. Block had the best performance in the match against her St. John's foe, defeating her in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. Serghi and Karra both won their matches in the tiebreaking third set.

Harvard will have the upcoming weekend off before continuing its Fall season with the ITA New England Regional Tournament. The event will be hosted by the Crimson in Cambridge and is set to kick off on Thursday, October 10.
