CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis posted a flawless effort in day two of the Harvard Fall Classic, winning all ten of its matches at Beren Tennis Center. 

Beginning in doubles, the duos of Kavya Karra and Claire Shao, and Stephanie Yakoff and Polina Krumkachev, both defeated their URI opponents by a 6-3 score. 

Kate Kim and Charlotte Owensby recorded the third victory of the day with a dominant 6-1 win over Stephanie Hylton and Blake Rothchild (URI). 

Shifting to singles play, the Crimson won all seven of its matches while dropping no more than five games. 

First-year Claire Shao was unstoppable, dropping Stephanie Hylton in straight sets.  With a 6-0, 6-1 result, Shao dropped the least number of games of any Crimson player. 

The captains' duo of Yakoff and Owensby each recorded strong showings for their first victories of the tournament, only falling in two games in either of their two set victories. 

Karra, Kim, Polina Krumkachev, and Natasha Rajaram rounded out the Harvard victories this afternoon, each adding straight set wins to end the day.
