PHILADELPHIA – Harvard University wrestling tallied four placers, including a second-place finish for senior
Jimmy Harrington at 157 pounds, at the Keystone Classic on Sunday at The Palestra.

Competing for the second time this season, the Crimson totaled 20 wins, including six bonus-point wins behind three falls and three major decisions.

Harvard Highlights
- The Crimson tallied four placers at the event, including senior Jimmy Harrington in second place at 157 pounds, junior Joseph Cangro in fourth place at 165 pounds, junior Matthew Walsh in sixth place at 184 pounds, and senior Dante Frinzi in seventh place at 141 pounds.
- As a team, Harvard totaled 20 wins, including 14 decisions, three major decisions, and three falls. Cangro, Frinzi, and sophomore Haden Bottiglieri each notched a fall on the day.
- Senior Jimmy Harrington placed second at 157 pounds behind a 4-1 record, including winning four straight matches to reach the final. Harrington topped Hofstra's Chase Hontz via a 9-0 major decision in the round of 32, beat Lock Haven's Chase Burke, 6-3, in the round of 16, bested Michigan State's No. 7 seed Darius Marines, 10-4, in the quarterfinals, and defeated Rutgers' No. 3 seed Anthony White in the semifinals with a 15-3 major decision. Harrington fell to Penn's No. 1 seed Jade Swisher in the finals via a fall.
- Junior Joseph Cangro came in fourth place at 165 pounds with a 3-2 record. He notched wins over No. 3 seed Chandler Amaker of Central Michigan (8-2 decision) in the round of 32, JT Hogan of Lock Haven (1:18 Fall) in the round of 16, and No. 6 seed Cody Walsh of Drexel in the quarterfinals (9-4 decision).
- Junior Matthew Walsh finished in sixth place at 184 pounds with a 4-2 record. Walsh opened competition with a 6-0 win over Rutgers' Damian Weaver in the round of 32. After dropping a decision in the round of 16, he came back with three straight wins in the consolation rounds to reach the fifth-place match. Those victories included decisions over Penn's Greyson Meak (11-1), Virginia Tech's Gunnar Garelli (9-4), and Michigan State's Ryan Boucher (1-0).
- Senior Dante Frinzi placed seventh at 141 pounds, posting a 3-2 record. Frinzi notched a fall in 1:08 against Virginia Tech's Drew Gorman in the round of 16, a 5-2 decision over Jace Morgan of Michigan State in the consolation, and an 8-6 win over No. 4 seed Bryce Kresho of Franklin & Marshall in the seventh-place match.
- Sophomore Haden Bottiglieri and junior Daniel Bittner each notched two wins apiece at 174 and 285 pounds respectively while sophomore Logan Brzozowski and first-year Sidney Tildsley each added one win at 125 and 141 pounds respectively.Â
