CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – As it opened its six-match homestand this afternoon, Harvard women's tennis split its two contests of the day, falling to Wisconsin before sweeping Quinnipiac to move to 4-6 on the year.
Harvard Falls to Wisconsin, 4-0
Beginning the day against the Badgers, the Crimson narrowly fell in doubles as
Rachel Arbitman and
Angel You collected the sole victory of the match, defeating their opponents at court three while not dropping a game.
Stephanie Yakoff was on her way to a victory at the top singles spot but wins from Wisconsin at court two, four, and six ultimately sealed the 4-0 win.

Harvard Bounces Back to End the Day, Sweeps Quinnipiac
The Crimson got back into the win column to end the day, registering its own sweep over Quinnipiac. Arbitman and You put up an identical dominant performance against the Bobcats, dropping their opponents while not letting up a single game.
Natalie Block and
Maxi Duncan nearly matched the result in their contest, defeating Quinnipiac's No. 2 doubles 6-1.
Harvard kept it rolling into singles action beginning with a 6-2, 6-0 victory from
Charlotte Owensby in her first appearance at the top singles spot this season.
Maxi Duncan and You provided the final two Crimson wins to solidify the match. While playing at the three spot, Duncan rolled past Vera Sekerina (Quinnipiac), 6-2, 6-0. You followed for her first win of the dual season, defeating Trista Caffyn-Parsons (Quinnipiac), 6-2, 6-1 on court six.
