CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis came up short against the Memphis Tigers this morning, falling 4-1.
The Tigers got on the board first by collecting the doubles point with a pair of 6-2 victories at court two and three.
Harvard was battling to get back into the match in singles including grabbing a pair of first sets on court three and six.
Kavya Karra registered the sole Crimson win of the day, defeating Rebecca Frant (Memphis) with identical 6-2 decisions.
Stephanie Yakoff was on her way to forcing a third set and
Maxi Duncan led in the third set at the No. 4 spot but wins by the Tigers on court one, two, and five clinched the match and halted Harvard's attack.
