CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis (7-7, 0-0 Ivy) rolled past NJIT this afternoon to complete an undefeated weekend inside the Murr Center.
The Crimson dominated doubles play beginning with
Maxi Duncan and
Kavya Karra blanking their opponents at court two.
Rachel Arbitman and
Angel You followed to improve to 5-0 on the year. The captain's duo has dropped just four games in its five victories this year.
Harvard kept its momentum rolling into singles play, dropping each NJIT opponent in straight sets.
Holly Fischer (6-2, 6-3),
Charlotte Owensby (6-2, 6-2), and
Kate Kim (6-1, 6-4) each recorded their second victories of the weekend with their wins this afternoon.
Owensby and
Maxi Duncan (6-0, 6-4) dropped the least number of games of a Crimson player, each only falling in four games throughout the two sets.
Sophomores
Stephanie Yakoff (6-2, 6-3) and
Natalie Block (6-4, 6-3) tallied the final wins of the day to help the Crimson complete the 7-0 sweep of the Highlanders.
