CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis recorded 11 wins and saw two doubles pairings and three singles players advance to day four of the ITA New England Regionals.

The third day of the tournament opened with the doubles round of 32. Harvard's two wins came in dominant fashion. Rohan Murali and Kolos Kincses, Harvard's nationally ranked duo and the tournament's three-seed, defeated Ethan Chung and Magnus Weng (Yale), 8-2. Mitchell Lee and James MacDonald provided an equally as impressive win, dropping just one game to Philip Weber and Luke Levanat (Boston College).

In the singles round of 32 six of Harvard's seven remaining players were victorious. Bill Chan, Mitchell Lee, Zachary Cohen, and Rohan Murali all won in straight sets. Cohen kept his undefeated record intact through the first round of matches with a 7-6 (4), 7-5 victory over the No. 5 seed, Rethin Pranav Senthil Kumar (Cornell).

Nathan Blokhin and Kolos Kincses also advanced to the round of 16 after winning gritty three set battles over fellow Ivy foes.

In the second round of singles matches at Beren Tennis Center, Chan, Lee, and Murali each added another victory, advancing them to the quarterfinals.

The Harvard trio had straight set wins with Murali and Lee dropping only four games each to their opponents and Chan defeating Robin Boeckli (Boston College), 7-5, 6-4.

The tournament will feature the doubles round of 16 and quarterfinals as well as the singles quarterfinals tomorrow at Beren Tennis Center.
