CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Harvard men's water polo sophomore attacker
Connor Kim (Los Angeles, Calif.) was named the NWPC Player of the Week as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon. For Kim, it is his first career weekly award and the second for a Crimson water polo athlete this fall.
Kim combined to score nine goals in Harvard's two conference wins over LIU and Iona on Sunday. Registered a hat trick at LIU and a game-high six goals at Iona. Against the Gaels, Kim opened the second quarter, which was tied 4-4 at the break, with back-to-back goals. He bested that feat in the fourth quarter by tallying there consecutive goals.
This weekend, Harvard returns home for the first time since August when it hosts Brown on Saturday before heading across the river for a match-up with MIT.
