No. 1 Women’s Squash Clinches Spot in Ivy League Tournament With 9-0 Win Over No. 8 Yale

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's squash continued to roll this afternoon with a 9-0 win over its Ivy foe, Yale, at the Murr Center Squash Courts. The Crimson (7-0, 4-0 Ivy) took care of business, sweeping the Bulldogs (2-4, 1-3 Ivy) on Senior Day to clinch one of the four spots in the inaugural 2026 Ivy League Tournament.
 

How it Happened

Harvard took control of the match early on, sweeping the first wave of matches and taking a 3-0 lead. Sarita Popat was first in the win column with a 3-0 win at sixes, followed by Saran Nghiem who also swept in her match at threes. Ocean Ma followed suit with a 3-0 sweep of her own at fours.
 
Ona Blasco Puig led off the second wave with a 3-0 win at fives and then Dixon Hill shut the door on the Bulldogs with a 3-1 match-clinching win at sevens. Caroline Fouts kept the wins rolling in with a 3-1 result at the top of the ladder.
 
The Crimson kept piling up the wins in the final set of matches, starting with Molly Stoltz's 3-0 win at nines in her senior match. Lucie Stefanoni also swept her opponent at twos and Jomana Ahmed closed out the action with a 3-1 win at sixes.
