CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis defeated Quinnipiac, 6-1, in its penultimate home non-conference match yesterday afternoon.

The Crimson blew through doubles beginning with an unblemished, 6-0, win by
Natalie Block and
Natasha Rajaram on court three. The nationally ranked duo of
Kavya Karra and
Stephanie Yakoff then locked up the doubles point with a 6-2 win on the top court.
Harvard then went on to win five of six singles matches, recording dominant wins wire-to-wire against the Bobcats.
Kate Kim recorded the first singles point of the day, blanking her opponent 6-0, 6-0 at court five.
Yakoff then provided a convincing straight-set win over Willow Renton (Quinnipiac) at the No. 1 spot. The junior won 6-4, 6-1 to record her team-best 17
th win of the season.
Karra followed closely behind at court two as a pair of 6-2 decisions lifted the junior past Caitlin Flower.
The Crimson continued to push even after the victory had been clinched with
Anna-Raphaëlle Serghi adding another point at court four. The sophomore defeated Anagha Shankar (Quinnipiac) in straight sets, 7-6 (6), 6-2.
Rajaram recorded the final point of the day, bouncing back from a 6-4 first set loss to win 4-6, 6-1, 10-7.
