CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In its first home contest of the Ivy League slate, Harvard women's tennis (11-8, 1-3 Ivy) cruised past Brown (14-7, 1-3 Ivy), 4-1.
The Bears won the first doubles match of the day with a 6-3 victory on court one but Harvard ultimately captured the doubles point. The duos of

Andra Braicu each won their matches 6-3 on courts two and three, respectively.
With the momentum of the doubles point, the Crimson started strong in singles, taking the first set on all six courts.
Claire Shao was the first Harvard player to secure a singles point, winning in convincing fashion with a pair of 6-2 sets on court two.
Block then added to the Crimson's lead, defeating Sari Woo (Brown), 6-3, 6-1, on court five.
Andra Braicu sealed the match for Harvard, dropping Chloe Qin (Brown) on court six with two 6-2 decisions.
