CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Rugby, the three-time defending 15s national champions, announced its 2026 fall schedule. The regular-season 15s slate features six games, with an equal split of three home games and three road dates.
Â
The campaign will commence on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m. ET, when the Crimson hits the road to play at Sacred Heart. Last season, Harvard defeated the Pioneers, 50-17, on Senior Day. The last time the Crimson competed against SHU in Fairfield, Connecticut, Harvard emerged with a 25-20 decision in 2024.
Â
For the second consecutive year, the Crimson will welcome Brown to Mignone Field, with this season's date serving as Harvard's home opener. The first of three straight home games is set for Saturday, Sept. 12, at 4 p.m. ET. The Crimson enters the tilt having won 10 straight home openers and was 47-8 victor over the Bears in 2025.
Â
Following a bye week, Harvard plays host to Dartmouth on Saturday, Sept. 26, for its Battle of the Ivies game, which will take place during Alum, Friends and Family Weekend. Game time is set for 2 p.m. ET. The Crimson saw the Big Green twice last season, winning on the road in the regular season, 36-33, and taking down its neighbors to the north at Mignone Field in the NIRA Semifinals, 45-10.
Â
Harvard will put the finishing touches on its home schedule on Saturday, Oct. 10, when Navy visits Cambridge for the first time since 2024. The Crimson's Senior Day game is slated for a 1 p.m. ET start. The last time the Crimson saw the Mids, it cruised to a 74-7 Senior Day victory in 2024.
Â
The Crimson is set to close out its 15s regular-season schedule with two games on the road. The first is set for Saturday, Oct. 17, at Lindenwood (time TBD), which is a rematch of last season's NIRA Final. Harvard proved to be too much that night at Mignone Field, winning 22-19, to secure its third consecutive title and become the first NCAA Division I program to win four national championships.
Â
Harvard's regular-season finale is slated for Saturday, Oct. 31, at in-state foe AIC (time TBD). The Crimson will make the trip to Springfield looking to replicate its 2025 season-opening performance when it emerged with the 55-7 decision at Mignone Field.
Â
The NIRA Semifinal is set for Saturday, Nov. 14, with the highest seed serving as host. The NIRA Final, meanwhile, is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, at a site to be determined.
Â
The Crimson is coming off a 2025-26 campaign that saw it win the NIRA 15s national championship for a third straight year, making the Crimson the first NCAA rugby program to win four NIRA titles. This past spring, meanwhile, Harvard won the Ivy 7s tournament and came in third place at the CRAA 7s Championship. The Crimson also boasted the MA Sorensen Award winner in the recently graduated
Tiahna Padilla. Padilla was the first Harvard athlete to win the award that is presented annually to the top collegiate player in women's rugby.
