12 Harvard student-athletes earn CSC Academic All-District At-Large honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – 12 Harvard student-athletes earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large honors, CSC announced today.

Among the men's selections were Mason Langenbrunner (Men's Hockey), Mason Hunt (Men's Water Polo), Duncan Armstrong (Alpine Skiing), Henry Lawson (Men's Fencing), Teddy Malone (Men's Lacrosse), and Barry Zhang (Men's Golf). 

Rounding out the Harvard selections on the women's side were Lucy Berkman (Women's Water Polo), Lindsey Brail (Women's Heavyweight Rowing), Despina Giannakopoulos (Women's Lacrosse), Jessica Zi Jia Guo (Women's Fencing), Vanessa Zhang (Women's Golf), and Bronte-May Brough (Field Hockey).

MEN:

Mason Langenbrunner | Men's Hockey | Government

  • Team Captain
  • Played in 130 career games, good for the fourth-most among defensemen in the last 20 years
  • Appeared in 32 games and finished with 10 points on two goals and eight assists

Mason Hunt | Men's Water Polo | Engineering Sciences

  • Team Captain
  • Scored 21 goals and added 25 assists
  • ACWPC All-Academic honoree

Duncan Armstrong | Alpine Skiing | Applied Mathematics

  • Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second straight year
  • Earned USCSCA All-Academic Ski Team honors
  • Had 12 top-30 finishes, 10 top-20 efforts, and four top-10 showings
  • Had his career-best finish in the Giant Slalom at the 2026 Middlebury Carnival, finishing second

Henry Lawson | Men's Fencing | Biomedical Engineering

  • USFCA All-America Second Team selection
  • Finished sixth in the men's epee competition at the 2026 NCAA Fencing Championships
  • USFCA Northeast All-Region honoree
  • All-Ivy League First Team selection

Teddy Malone | Men's Lacrosse | Government

  • Second Team All-Ivy League selection
  • First Team All-New England honoree
  • Led the team in scoring with 35 goals and 49 points
  • Two-time Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

Barry Zhang | Men's Golf | Economics

  • 2026 Ivy League Individual Champion
  • Led the team in scoring average at 71.6
  • Finished tied for fourth at NCAA Regionals, the highest finish in program history
  • Collected five top-25 finishes in 2025-26

WOMEN:

Lucy Berkman | Women's Water Polo | Government/Psychology

  • Team Captain
  • Tallied 19 goals and 17 assists on the year
  • CWPA Champion
Lindsey Brail | Women's Heavyweight Rowing | Applied Mathematics
  • First Team All-Ivy selection
  • CRCA National Scholar Athlete

Despina Giannakopoulos | Women's Lacrosse | Psychology

  • Team Captain
  • Honorable Mention All-Ivy selection
  • Played and started all 15 games
  • Key piece of the Crimson defense

Jessica Zi Jia Guo | Women's Fencing | Integrative Biology

  • 2026 NCAA Women's Foil National Champion
  • USFCA Collegiate Women's Foil Fencer of the Year
  • USFCA All-America First Team honoree
  • All-Ivy League First Team honoree

Vanessa Zhang | Women's Golf | Economics

  • NCAA Regional at-large selection
  • Led the team and ranked in the top five in the Ivy League in scoring average
  • First Team All-Ivy League selection
  • Won two tournaments as an individual
  • Collected five top-10 finishes in 2025-26

Bronte-May Brough | Field Hockey | Human Evolutionary Biology

  • Honda Sport Award Finalist
  • NFHCA Northeast Region Player of the Year
  • Four-time NFHCA All-American
  • Four-time All-Ivy League selection
