Women's Heavyweight Rowing

Watch: 2026 Women's Heavyweight Rowing Season Recap

Harvard-Radcliffe completed season with silver-medal performance for the V4+ at the Ivy Championship.

Harvard-Radcliffe heavyweight rowing raced in five regattas over the course of the 2026 spring season beginning with highly-competitive races against Ohio State and Indiana at the Ohio State Regatta. The second varsity eight started the season strong with wins in each of those races on back-to-back days.

Competition against Ivy League opponents ratcheted up in mid-April with an invitational at Princeton, followed by a regatta at Yale. The postseason arrived with the 51st Eastern Sprints in early-May and Harvard earned a pair of bronze medals in the 2V8 and 3V8.

To close out the season, the Crimson's Ivy League Championship Regatta was highlighted by a silver-medal performance from the varsity four, which nearly overtook champion Yale in the final 100m. The boat, stroked by Vivi Sun, was the first Harvard team to reach the podium in a NCAA-scoring race for the first time in nine years.
