Rowed in the bow seat for the novice eight ... Was a spare for theBlack and White at the NCAA Championships ... Helped the noviceeight post a 9-3 dual record ... The Black and White won its heatand took fourth in the grand final at EAWRC Sprints ... Alsocontributed to the novice eight’s wins in the Beanpot(against Boston University and Northeastern) and against Yale andVirginia, as well as a pair of race victories in the Charles RiverChallenge (first against Texas, Dartmouth and Syracuse and lateragainst Dartmouth and Notre Dame).
Before Harvard
Played soccer, ran track and rowed for King’s College crew... Won the New Zealand secondary schools championship in theUnder-18 quadruple sculls in 2005 ... Won Auckland titles in theU-17 double and quad in 2006 ... Raced for the North Island U-18quad at the 2006 New Zealand U-18 series ... Received the SchoolAward for best senior girl for best all-around athlete ... Alsoreceived the award for most consistent girl rower ... Won the year12 and year 13 English literature prizes ... Tutored at the MangareRefugee Centre ... King’s College senior girls champion inthe 3000 and 1500 meters.
