Competed in five carnivals for the Crimson … At the Vermont Carnival (Jan. 12-13): Placed 88th in the 1.3k classic and 83rd in the 10k skate … At the Colby Carnival (Jan. 19-20): Placed 80th in the 7.5k skate and 65th in the 20k classic … At the Harvard Carnival (Feb. 2-3): Placed 61st in the 15k classic and 65th in the 7.5k skate … At the Dartmouth Carnival (Feb. 9-10): Placed 64th in the 1.3k skate and 61st in the 15k classic … At the Williams Carnival (Feb. 16-17): Placed 76th in the 10k classic. 

Before Harvard

Earned the 2023 Varsity Maine Girls’ Skier of the Year award … Gained All-State Ski Team accolades in both 2022 and 2023 … Won the Maine State Nordic High School Championship … Finished in the top 10 at the 2023 Easter High School Championships … Served as a senior captain for nordic skiing, cross country, and outdoor track & field … Raced on the club level for Nonstop Nordic … Also competed in cross country and outdoor track & field … Came in fourth at the Maine State Cross Country Championships in 2021 and seventh in 2022; qualified for the 2021 and 2022 New England Cross Country Championships … Garnered All-State in cross country in 2020 and 2021 … Earned Team MVP accolades in cross country three times (2020, 2021, 2022) … Featured as a piano soloist with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and Augusta Symphony Orchestra … Earned All-State honors as a jazz pianist and jazz vocalist … Daughter of Robert Brooks ’87 and Michele Dorsey Brooks; Robert competed for the Crimson’s varsity lightweight crew program.
