Will Corrigan

Will Corrigan enters in his fourth season in 2023 as an assistant coach at Harvard where he serves as the Faceoff Coordinator and Assistant Offensive Coordinator.

In 2023, Corrigan helped lead the Crimson to a number of signature wins including an upset victory over the then No. 4 Cornell Big Red. Continuing his role as an assistant offensive coordinator, Corrigan helped coach three All-Ivy league players in Sam King, Owen Gaffney and Andrew Perry. Corrigan was also in charge of coordinating the Harvard ride that finished the season ranked third in the nation after holding opponents to a .789 clear percentage.

Corrigan helped usher in the new era of Harvard Men's Lacrosse in 2022 after he helped lead the team to an 8-4 regular season record which secured the team its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2014. Under his leadership, the Crimson dominated the transition game, holding opponents to the fourth-worst clearing percentage in the nation.

During the shortened 2020 season due to COVID-19, the Crimson saw improved production at the faceoff X, as junior Kyle Massimillian was on pace to set a new career high in face-off percentage and the team as a whole had increased the team face-off percentage from 2019.

Corrigan arrived in Cambridge after a successful stint as an assistant coach at Washington and Lee for two seasons. In 2018, Corrigan helped lead the Generals to the ODAC regular season and tournament championship titles as well as the third round of the NCAA Tournament. Corrigan also coached the face-off unit to the eighth best face-off percentage in the nation. While in Lexington, Corrigan coached the Generals’ all-time leader scorer on offense, AJ Witherall and the all-time leader in face-off wins, Jack Hodgson.

Corrigan came to Washington and Lee from the Woodinville Lacrosse Club, where he served as the varsity head coach and program director for two years. Corrigan helped guide the Falcons to a state semifinal appearance in 2017, following the program’s first Division I state playoff appearance in his first season. Corrigan also guided the growth and development of the kindergarten through eighth grade teams. While coaching with the Falcons, Corrigan also coached the CitySideLax travel teams, where he coordinated recruiting and curriculum since 2015.

A 2015 graduate of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Corrigan was a four-year letterwinner on the Fighting Irish men’s lacrosse team. An Academic All-ACC selection, Corrigan helped the Irish to four NCAA Championship appearances and a runner-up finish as a junior in 2014. Corrigan has strong ties to the game of lacrosse, as his father Kevin has served as the head coach at Notre Dame for more than 30 years. Will is married to Julie Honeycutt and they are excited to expect their first child in July.
