Competed in 17 regattas throughout the season… Open Skipper All-American… NEISA Open Skipper of the Year Finalist… All-NEISA First-Team Open Skipper… NEISA Open Sailor of the Week (Mar. 12)… Made season debut at the Crimson top-five finish a the Pine Trophy… With crew member Pomaika’i Ogata, finished first in the A division at the Hatch Brown Trophy… Helped lift the Crimson to a first place finish at the Open Atlantic Coast Championship Qualifier and the Open Atlantic Coast Championship… A skipper for the Crimson first place finish at the Sharpe Trophy in the opening weekend of the spring season…In the lineup as a skipper in the team’s first place result at the Wood Trophy… Helped the Crimson to a first place finish at the NEISA Open Fleet Race Championship… Appeared as a skipper in the teams win at the ICSA Open Team Race National Championship and their third place finish at the ICSA Open Fleet Race National Championship.
Sophomore (2021-22)
ICSA Open Skipper All-America Honorable Mention... Second-Team All-NEISA Skipper... Appeared in 17 regattas... Made collegiate debut at the Nicholas Barnett Trophy (Sept. 18-19), leading his boat to second place in the B-division... Contributed to a victory for Harvard at the Hewitt Trophy (Oct. 9-10), finishing second in the B-division alongside partner Cassia Lee... Helped Harvard to second place at the Southern New England Team Race (March 19-20)... Served as a skipper at the NEISA Team Race Championship (April 9-10) as Harvard placed second... Led boat to first place in the B-division at the NEISA Dinghy Championship (April 30 - May 1); Harvard finished in second as a team... Sailed in the ICSA Team Race National Championship (May 16-18)... Was third in the B-division at the ICSA Sailing Dinghy National Championship (May 21-22).

Before Harvard
Multi-sport athlete, competing on the varsity soccer, swimming and sailing teams… Captain of the varsity sailing team at Ransom Everglades High School for the 2019-20 year… Took home first place at the ISSA Keelboat National Championship, winning the Mendleblatt Trophy… Part of the No. 1-ranked team in the SAISA for his junior and senior season… The 2017 470 Junior National Champion, finishing fourth overall as a team… Father, Devin McGranahan, graduated from Harvard Business School.
