Senior (2023-24)

CSA Scholar All-American … Posted an overall record of 8-6 on the season … Primarily played at the sixth spot on the Crimson ladder … Clinched the match for Harvard with a 3-0 win in the No. 7 match against No. 10 Dartmouth (Nov. 29) … Was victorious in his match at the No. 7 position against Virginia’s Andrew Barr, winning 3-0 to clinch the match for the Crimson against the No. 8 Cavaliers (Dec. 2) … Swept No. 16 MIT’s Mitav Nayak at the No. 6 position (Jan. 11) … Defeated Morgan Huberman of No. 6 Cornell, 3-1, in their match at No. 6 (Feb. 3) … Was victorious over Zach Nam of Columbia (Feb. 4), earning a 3-1 win at the No. 6 position to help Harvard defeat the No. 7 Lions … Picked up a 3-0 win at the No. 5 position in the victory over No. 13 Tufts (Feb. 6) … Defeated Guido Lindner of No. 8 Drexel, 3-1, at the No. 6 position (Feb. 17) …. Junior (2022-23)

Complied a record of 4-2, appearing for the first time on Jan. 13 against No. 4 Yale…Played all six matches at the No. 8 position…Registered a key 3-1 (11-4, 12-10, 8-11, 11-9) win over Dana Santry (Penn) in a come from behind Harvard victory over No. 2 Penn…Dominated Shomari Wiltshire (Drexel), 3-0 (11-6, 11-3, 11-5) in regular season finale…Defeated Morgan Huberman (Cornell), 2-0 (11-8, 11-6) in the first round of the CSA Team Championships.

Sophomore (2021-22)

Totaled a record of 11-3 in 14 matches played this season... Played 10 of his 14 matches at the No. 7 position while also making appearances at No. 4 and No. 6... Helped Harvard edge Princeton, 5-4, securing a victory against the Tigers' Duncan Joyce (Jan. 16)...Swept Drexel's Matthew Lucente in a 6-3 win for the Crimson (Jan. 18)...Went 2-1 in the Potter Cup, helping Harvard win the event for the third-straight season...Beat Penn's Yash Bhargava, 3-2, in the final of the Potter Cup (Feb. 20).

First-Year (2019-20) 

Finished his first collegiate season with an undefeated 10-0 record … Primarily served in the No. 9 spot on the ladder, where he recorded an 8-0 mark … Went 2-0 at the No. 7 position … Helped the team win back-to-back Potter Cup titles at the CSA National Championships … Recorded nine shutout wins in 2019-20 … Registered a 3-0 win in his collegiate debut against Keith Lamp of MIT …  Defeated Emil Snyman of Drexel, 3-0, while outscoring him 33-7 … Outscored Tyler Schmalz of St. Lawrence, 33-3, in his largest win of the season.

Before Harvard

National Capital Squash MVP for BU17 and BU19 (2017-19)… Represented Team U.S.A. in the British Junior Open and Junior Pan-American Games… Was ranked as high as No. 5 in the BU19 national rankings… Competed in tennis and finished second individually in Montgomery County for the No. 3 singles position in 2015… Helped Walt Whitman High to the county tournament title as a freshman… AP Scholar with distinction (2018)… Participated in Walt Whitman High’s DECA program… Took third place for business presentation at the county tournament… Volunteered his time to teach tennis to underprivileged children from 2015-17… Son of Yongmei Ye and Eric Rotzoll.
