Sophomore - 2024-25

Swam the freestyle events after seeing action in the free, fly and IM in 2023-24... Set a personal best in the 200 free (1:37.56) at HYP... Posted the top 500-free time of career (4:28.71) at the Minnesota Invitational... Also set personal records in the 1,000 free (9:45.95) at Cornell with Dartmouth and in the 1,650 free (15:52.84) at the Minnesota Invite... Swam in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 800 free relay during the campaign.

First-Year - 2023-24

Recorded best 100 free (44.72) and 200 free (1:37.73) at the Ivy Championships… Raced the 500 free in 4:39.13 at Brown… Swam his best 100 butterfly (47.96), 200 IM (1:51.08) and 400 IM at the Minnesota Invitational… Raced the 200 butterfly in 1:47.39 at HYP… Swam on the team’s fourth fastest 200 free relay (1:19.56 at HYP)… Competed in the 400 free relay, 800 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay… Helped the Crimson win the Ivy League title for the seventh straight season.

Before Harvard

A four-year varsity swimmer… Competed for Sarasota Sharks in Florida for 10 years… Was team captain for Out-of-Door Academy for three seasons… Earned Scholastic All-America honors three times… Was a World Junior finalist, U.S. Open finalist, junior national finalist and South American champion… Brother, Martin Baffico, was a swimmer at the University of Chicago, graduating in 2022.
