Swam on the second-best 400 free relay (2:49.76), third-best 200 free relay (1:16.53), and fourth-best 200 medley relay (1:24.20) in program history... Posted the team's second-best times in the 50 free (19.52 - Ivy), 100 free (42.83 - Ivy) and 200 free (1:34.64 - Ivy)... Four-year varsity swimmer… Competed for Northbay Aquatics… Served as Tamalpais team captain his senior season… All-American in the 50 free, 100 back and 100 fly… Earned Scholastic All-America honors (2021-22)… Finished prep career as the Tamalpais record holder in every individual and relay event… Set Marin County Athletic League records in the 100 back and 100 fly… Established the NCS meet record in the 50 free… Helped Tamalpais to the MCAL championship in 2022 and 2023… Father, Michal Gattnar, was on the men's fencing team at Harvard and was inducted into the Harvard Varsity Club Hall of Fame… Mother was the Slovak national champion in karate.
