A member of the U.S. Women's National Team, Leigh Carroll joinedthe Harvard-Radcliffe lightweight crew coaching staff for the2014-15 season. A coxswain for the Brown men's heavyweight crewteam, the 2012 graduate completes the 2014 IRA National Championsstaff.

Carroll comes to Cambridge from Providence, Rhode Island, wheresince graduation she has worked on an individual level withcoxswains on her former team to support their development. In 2012,Carroll coached the novice squads at Wayland-Weston RowingAssociation.

Carroll coxed the U.S. to a second-place finish in Australia atthe Samsung World Cup in 2013 after helping the U23 squad to abronze finish at the World Championships in 2011. She also assistedthe coaching staff by taking splits and video, recording ergresults and organizing information during rower trials. 

With the Bears, Carroll spent three years coxing the varsityeight, leading the squad to a silver medal in 2012 at the IRANational Championships after winning the Eastern Sprints. Carrolland the Brown V8 went on to take second in the Grand Challenge Cupat the Henley Royal Regatta.
