Amber Gately joined Harvard Athletics in July of 2026 as an Assistant Director of Multimedia & Production.
Prior to joining Harvard full-time, Gately served on the Harvard Athletics game-day production crew beginning in 2023, working in a variety of roles including director, video board director, technical director, graphics operator, replay operator and camera operator for live broadcasts and in-venue productions.
From 2024 to 2026, Gately worked for New England Sports Network (NESN) as a Resource Scheduler and Streaming Coordinator, overseeing FAST channel operations, scheduling production personnel, and directing streaming workflows for Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins programming. She additionally served as a video shader, robotic camera operator, and backup director for studio productions. She worked on Fenway Park video board productions for the Boston Red Sox in a variety of control room roles, including graphics, playback, camera operation, and shading.
Gately graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio-TV-Film and a minor in Women and Gender Studies. She has received multiple industry honors, including the 2025 NESN Operations Department "Rising Talent" Award and Harvard Video Productions' Rookie of the Year (2024) and Most Outstanding Performer (2025) awards.
