Conor Pierce returned to Harvard Athletics in June 2026 as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, currently overseeing athletic performance for men’s soccer, men’s swimming, men’s heavyweight rowing, diving, track and field, and cross country. Additionally, he assists with the Harvard Football program.
Pierce is no stranger to the Crimson program, having previously served as a Strength and Conditioning Graduate Fellow at Harvard from 2024-25. During that time, he contributed to the daily operations and testing protocols across more than 40 Division I programs.
Following his Graduate Fellowship, Pierce took on the role of Assistant Athletic Performance Coach at Stony Brook University, where he worked with football and men's soccer before being named the interim head of men’s basketball. During his tenure with the Seawolves, he helped to bring the men’s soccer team from winless in conference play to a CAA Finals appearance before returning to Cambridge to rejoin the Harvard staff.
Pierce earned his Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from Merrimack College in 2025 and his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology along with a Nutritional Sciences Minor from Penn State University in 2024. He holds multiple industry certifications, including the SCCC, RSCC, CSCS, USAW Level One, PN1, and SSR.
A competitive powerlifter, Pierce has competed with the USAPL, earning a first-place finish at the Keystone Classic.
