Dave Wilson joined Harvard Athletics in September 2013 and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Compliance. As the Assistant Director, he oversees initial and continuing student-athlete eligibility, official/unofficial visits, Student-Athlete Assistance Fund, recruiting processes and countable athletically related activities for all of the Crimson’s 42 varsity sports. He also assists with rules education and NCAA & Ivy League rules interpretations, serving as a reference for student-athletes, coaches, staff and faculty.
Prior to Harvard, Wilson served as the Assistant Director of Compliance at Georgetown University in 2012-2013. At Georgetown Wilson oversaw all aspects of National Letter of Intent Program, initial eligibility, recruiting and student-athlete housing, while also providing NCAA rules interpretations. Prior to Georgetown, Wilson gained compliance experience as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletic Compliance Office at Providence College from 2010-2012.
Wilson, a Chelmsford, Massachusetts native, earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Providence College in 2010. He was a four-year letter winner on the Providence Swimming and Diving team, serving as team captain his senior year. Wilson earned his Master of Business Administration from Providence in 2012.
