Joining the multimedia department as an assistant director of creative content and mutlimedia in the winter of 2024, Monigan IV first joined the Athletics department in August 2022 as a creative content producer, where he shot and edited short-form content for social media for all 42 teams.
While a student at Bentley University, Monigan created the Bentley Athletics photography department, where he led a team of student photographers and videographers responsible for capturing digital media throughout Bentley Athletics events.
Monigan’s first job outside of collegiate athletics was with the Worcester Red Sox, where he was the team videographer from 2022 to 2024. Producing short- and long-form content for the Woo Sox, Monigan created and distributed creative highlights throughout the team’s social channels. Monigan went on to become the team videographer for PWHL Boston in its inaugural season in October 2023.
In March 2024, Monigan was hired as a photography intern with the Boston Red Sox, where he covered games, events, community appearances, and helped produce a season-long project showcasing the personality of multiple Red Sox players.
In May 2024, Monigan won SVG Outstanding Special Feature at the College Sports Media Awards for his Cinematic Recap of the 2023 Harvard-Yale Game. Monigan graduated from Bentley in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Creative Industries with a minor in Sports Business Management.
