Elizabeth Boyington joined Harvard’s sports medicine staff prior to the 2016-17 season and works primarily with field hockey and softball.

Boyington came to Harvard after serving two years as assistant athletic trainer at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. There, she worked with the men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming/diving, men’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s basketball teams. The last year she spent as a physical assessment and performance specialist in Dallas, Texas, at a concierge medical practice.

Boyington earned her master’s in human physiology from the University of Oregon in June 2013 while enrolled in the post-professional graduate athletic training program. During 2012-13, Boyington worked directly with the Oregon football team. From 2012-13, she worked with 16 different programs at Springfield High School in Springfield, Ore.
