Katie Schoepfer

Katie Schoepfer is Harvard’s first-ever operationsassistant for soccer, joining the staff in the fall of 2012.Schoepfer will handle the administrative aspects of both theHarvard men’s and women’s soccer programs.

Schoepfer comes to Cambridge on the heels of a stint inprofessional and international soccer. She appeared in 13 games forthe Boston Breakers of the WPS in 2011 after playing with theleagues’ Sky Blue FC in 2010. She was a four-year member ofthe U.S. Under-23 National Team and had earlier success with theprogram as a member of the U-17 squad.

The Waterford, Conn., native had a decorated collegiate careerat Penn State from 2006-09. As a senior, she garnered numerousawards, including Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, second teamNSCAA All-American and first team NSCAA Scholar All-American. Shealso earned NSCAA All-America third team accolades as a sophomorein 2007. Schoepfer was a three-time all-conference selection andwas picked to the Big Ten All Freshman Team in2006.
