Marina Kelly joined Harvard as a development assistant working with athletics in August of 2024, following a stint at nearby Babson University where she served as an athletics administrator.
Kelly arrived at Babson in July 2023, after a stint at Brown University where she was the men's soccer director of operations, a role she stepped into in April 2022. During her time with the Bears, she was responsible for overseeing the budget, organizing and planning all team travel, keeping training logs, monitoring academic progress, managing the team's social media accounts and assisted with planning training sessions and alumni relations.
Prior to her time at Brown, Kelly served as an assistant women's soccer coach at the University of Scranton during the 2021 campaign. She was part of the United Soccer Coaches Region V Coaching Staff of the Year as the Royals went 18-1-1 and advanced to the third round of the NCAA tournament.
A 2018 graduate of Clarion University, Kelly was a three-year member of the women's soccer and basketball programs after playing both sports and earning All-Little East second-team honors in soccer as a first-year in 2014. She started 49 of 54 career games for the Golden Eagles from 2015-17, finishing with nine goals and seven assists for 25 points on the pitch and saw action in 47 games, which included 12 starts, over three seasons with the women's basketball squad.
Kelly got her start in the collegiate coaching ranks with a two-year stint as a graduate assistant women's soccer coach at Regis College from 2019-21. She also served as a coach with the Mass City FC soccer program and coached girls basketball at Whitman-Hanson High School from 2018-21.
A native of Whitman, Massachusetts, Kelly completed her master's degree at Regis in 2021.
