Matt Klinkenberg joined the Harvard Athletics Department in Aug. 2022, and served as an Athletic Communications Intern and Athletic Communications Assistant before being hired as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in Sept. 2023.
A graduate of Emmanuel College, Klinkenberg worked with the Crimson's field hockey, women's lacrosse, lightweight rowing (men's and women's), men's ice hockey, water polo (men's and women's) and wrestling programs, while also assisting with football, during his initial stint in Cambridge (Aug. 2022-Sept. 2023).
Klinkenberg, who earned his master's degree from Boston College, also served a variety of roles at Fenway Park and began his career in sports with the Edmonton Oilers media relations department.
