Nick Economides joined the Harvard Athletics Department as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in September of 2023.
Economides arrived in Cambridge from Syracuse where he spent three seasons in the Orange's athletic communications office. As a communications intern, a role he held for two years, Economides assisted with the daily publicity efforts for Syracuse's football and men's lacrosse programs. After earning his bachelor's degree in public relations from the university in the spring of 2022, Economides transitioned to a communications assistant role, serving as the primary media contact for the 2022 NCAA champion Orange men's soccer team and Syracuse's softball program.
Prior to working with the Orange athletic communications staff, Economides was a staff writer for The Daily Orange, covering Syracuse's volleyball and track and field teams.
