Oscar Forester

Oscar Forester graduated from Ithaca College in 2024 with a B.S. in sports media and a minor in business administration. At Ithaca, Forester helped lead the Creative Media team, a student-run extracurricular where students handle all social media responsibilities for the athletics teams. With Creative Media, Forester trained new students in photography, videography, and graphic design skills, while also leading the social media responsibilities for a number of Ithaca College sports.

While in college, Forester joined a newly formed creative team for Cornell Women’s Hockey, as an initiative to take their media presence to the next level. In Forester’s two seasons with the Big Red, he traveled to home and away games, focusing primarily on photography and live social media posting, growing their social media following by the thousands.

Upon graduation in 2024 from Ithaca College, Forester took a full-time internship with Harvard Athletics in the communications department, coming to the Crimson for the 2024-25 season. Under the internship, Forester was responsible for graphic design, videography, and photography for all 42 sports in Cambridge or on the road. He also helped the Athletic Communications staff with history books, website updates, and various other administrative tasks.

Following the conclusion of the 2024-25 season, Forester was hired by Harvard Fencing to continue work he had done with the team during his internship, accompanying then to the Ivy League Championships at Penn, and the NCAA Championships at Penn State.

Entering his second year with Harvard Fencing, Forester has already accumulated tens of millions of views on their social media, and nearly doubled fencings online following.
