Sarah Chambers joined the Harvard Sports Medicine staff in a full-time capacity in July 2025, after completing the department’s transition-to-practice program during the 2024-25 campaign.
As an assistant athletic trainer, Chambers works with the Crimson men’s and women’s cross country and track and field programs. During her time in Harvard’s transition-to-practice program, Chambers provided care for the cross country and track and field teams, along with supporting Crimson Football.
Before arriving in Cambridge, Chambers served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Smith College. Over two seasons (2022-23, 2023-24) in Northampton, Massachusetts, Chambers worked with the field hockey and women’s lacrosse teams all while completing her master’s degree coursework (2024; Master of Science - Exercise and Sports Studies).
Chambers first athletic training experience came as an undergraduate at Westfield State, where she cared for the university’s track and field, and women’s lacrosse programs. Chambers also assisted with Western New England University Football and Agawam High School Athletics. She ultimately went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Westfield State in 2022.
