Theo Woodward joined the Harvard men's and women's squash programs prior to the 2024-25 season. 

Most recently Theo Woodward successfully guided the Bowdoin College squash programs to new heights on and off the court during his five years at the College. Woodward coached the men’s program to a historic NESCAC final in his third year (2022) for the first time in program history. He coached the women’s team to as high as #14 in the nation and was named the NESCAC men’s coach of the year twice. 

Before Bowdoin Woodward was the assistant coach at Drexel University helping the women's program to its best-ever finish at nationals (#7) and a Kurtz Cup Division championship the year prior. Prior to that, he was the assistant coach at Dartmouth for five seasons, helping the Big Green to two 10-win seasons in that span, and its highest national ranking in program history (#4).

Woodward holds the UK (and US) Coaching Certificate Level 3 certification. He has coached and mentored Professional Squash Association (PSA) and junior internationals. As a player, he was a key member of the British University and National School Championship-winning teams. Additionally, he has won several tournaments and played internationally on the Professional Squash Circuit. Woodward studied Commerce at the University of Birmingham in the UK, graduating in 2008 with honors and a prize for his extended study on Squash Sponsorship.

Woodward currently works for SquashBusters as their Post Secondary Success Manager utilizing his coaching and life experiences to build meaningful relationships with the SquashBusters post-secondary community.
