CAMBRIDGE, Mass.
- Harvard senior co-captain Sam Slaughter has been
selected to play in the 68th United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse
Association (USILA) North/South All-Star Game, to be held at
Harvard Stadium as part of a tripleheader May 22.
The Division III game will be played at 2 p.m., followed by the
Division I/II game at 4 p.m. The Boston Cannons will face the
Denver Outlaws at 7:30 p.m. to cap the action.
Slaughter, a defender from Wilton, Conn., earned All-Ivy League
second-team honors and was named to the NEILA All-New England first
team for his stellar play this spring. He started all 13
games for the Crimson, helping the team rank third in the nation in
scoring defense (6.69 goals allowed per game). Slaughter was
third on the team with 27 ground balls.
